JP-8

JP8 with NATO code F34 has the same specification as the civilian version Jet A-1 and is a Kerosene based fuel, but with the addition of corrosion inhibitors and anti-icing additives. JP8 regulates under the specifications MIL-DTL 83133 and DEF STAN 91-87 while Jet A-1 is specified under DEF STAN 91-91.
