Aviation fuel

What is the difference between Jet A-1 and Avgas?

Jet A-1 is a kerosene-based fuel for turbine engines. Avgas 100LL is used in small piston engine aircraft, mainly in General Aviation, which includes activities such as private pilots, flight training and flying clubs.

What type of sustainable fuel (SAF) do you offer and how can I buy it?

AFSN offers Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to reduce CO2 emissions. SAF can be purchased by commercial customers at selected locations. Contact us for more information on availability and prices.

Do you offer fuel delivery to airlines outside Norway?

Yes, through the Shell Aviation network we can deliver jet fuel at selected international locations. Contact us for more information.

Cards

What is the difference between Shell Carnet and Fuel & Fly?

The Shell Carnet card is for commercial customers with an organization number. The Fuel & Fly card is mainly for private customers

How do I apply for a card, and how do I know if the application has been received?

To apply for the Shell Carnet or Fuel & Fly card, use the application forms found in private customers and commercial customers.

Can I pay by credit card or Visa?

Unfortunately, we no longer accept Visa or credit cards. The only payment options are Shell Carnet and Fuel & Fly.

Which cards do you accept?

We accept Shell Carnet and Fuel & Fly.

What is required to get a card from you?

Anyone can apply for a card by submitting an application via our card applications or directly to us by e-mail at otc@afsn.no. A credit check will be carried out, which determines whether the card will be issued.

Do you have special services for flying clubs or private pilots?

What will be the final price if I refuel at an airport?
