Our partnerships

AFSN collaborates with leading industry and environmental organizations to promote safety, sustainability, and progress in aviation.

Drivkraft Norge - Securing a sustainable future in aviation

As a member of Drivkraft Norge, the largest industry organization for fuel and energy suppliers in Norway, AFSN works closely with other stakeholders to promote the use of sustainable fuels, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). This collaboration is vital in driving the transition to low-emission energy sources across the aviation sector. Additionally, AFSN partners with Drivkraft Norge to help secure a positive business environment, ensuring that the industry remains attractive for continued investment in infrastructure, innovation, and sustainable energy solutions for the future.

ZERO – a partnership to reduce the carbon footprint

ZERO is a leading environmental organization in Norway, dedicated to promoting climate-friendly solutions. Through this partnership, AFSN strengthens its focus on reducing the carbon footprint of the aviation industry by promoting the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and other environmental initiatives.

RSB – independent sustainability certification for SAF

AFSN is certified to the RSB (Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials) standard, one of the leading global sustainability schemes for fuels and biomaterials.
The certification verifies lifecycle emissions performance and responsible sourcing.

RSB also provides a robust chain-of-custody (mass balance) for our Norwegian supply, supporting transparent documentation and credible corporate claims — including through recognised Book & Claim registries.

SCB – Strategic Partner for Sustainability Reporting

SCB is a leading climate and energy solutions advisor with a global presence, supporting organisations worldwide in turning climate initiatives into concrete and credible results.
As AFSN’s partner, SCB helps our customers translate purchases of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) into robust climate reporting. This includes guidance from the first purchase through to completed GHG accounts and communication in annual reports, always aligned with recognised standards such as CSRD, SBTi, and GRI.

Through this partnership, we can together offer a complete solution, combining AFSN’s physical SAF deliveries with SCB’s expertise in documentation and reporting. This ensures that our customers can take credible climate action today while contributing to the scale-up of SAF and supporting the wider energy transition in aviation.

Joint Inspection Group (JIG) – ensuring that we meet international safety and quality requirements

AFSN is a proud member of the Joint Inspection Group (JIG), the world-leading organization for setting standards in the handling, storage, and delivery of aviation fuel. JIG establishes global best practices for aviation fuel operations, ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, and reliability in the industry. As a JIG member, AFSN adheres to these rigorous standards, ensuring that all fuel handling and refuelling procedures meet international safety and quality requirements, providing airlines with the confidence that their fuel is handled with the utmost care and precision.

NHO (Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise) – gives us the opportunity to influence the future

As a member of NHO, Norway’s largest employers' organization, AFSN benefits from a strong network of Norwegian businesses across various industries. This membership supports AFSN’s commitment to fostering a competitive and sustainable business environment, while also ensuring that our interests in economic, labor, and trade policies align with the best practices for responsible industry growth. Through NHO, AFSN remains engaged in important discussions and initiatives that shape the future of Norway's economy, including those focused on sustainability and innovation in aviation.
